Floral Wreath

I love floral and twiggy christmas wreaths and decided this year I would make my own!!!

Christmas at our home is not very traditional.... We have a chalk drawn christmas tree, a vintage sign with "merry christmas" handwritten by Simon, and a giant confetti systems style diamond by giant, i mean huuggeee.

This is why this wreath works so well in our home, for christmas time and will carry on all year round!

I love them for all occasions, including weddings, engagements, baby showers and other events, not just christmas!

This wreath used flowers from my garden, but next time I'll be using peonies, billy buttons and white hydrangeas (Stay tuned for pictures!!)

Cool Christmas Tree Roundup

Christmas is a week away and living in a small apartment and being a prop stylist means we're starved for space in our place, especially for a once a year lush christmas tree! (P.S meanwhile, I'm totally jealous of Melinda's tree & xmas decos on Georgica Pond blog! ....hmmm maybe one day!)

This year Simon drew a christmas tree in chalk on a corner of our black painted apartment.  It is adorned with Murobond paint samples (which are conveniently bauble round shaped), and having it drawn on a corner means it almost looks 3D without taking up ANY space!

Here are some more cool ideas we may try next year......

What does your tree look like this year?
Would you try any of these ideas?? Leave a comment!

Hello May Wedding Magazine

A gorgeous new aussie bridal magazine was launched earlier this week called Hello May.  Aimed at brides who want something creative and unique for their wedding.  This online magazine is filled with inspiration and links to some special vendors.

Issue one of Hello May is available here to download

We were lucky enough to be featured on this debut issue (Page 14!) alongside From the Owl wedding registry and Pure Pops, who we love!

Simon handpainted this this sign in white paint marker and designed the lettering from scratch. It was installed at the One Fine Day bridal fair which is on again in 2013!!! Be sure to check it out.
