A couple of months ago, Simon was asked to participate in the first legal graffiti laneway project. Curated by the a-m-azing Alex Zabotto-Bently of AZB Creative. Simon was given the top level at the Beach Road Hotel to do a graffiti piece and this is him infront of his New York style Kade piece.
Other artists included Phibs, Skulk, Maxcat, Takie Takie & more..
Ashdown & Bee (Simon) did 6 chalkboard menus for the new eatery Truckstop which is owned by the guys who run mobile food truck, Eat Art Truck. Chef Stuart McGill (former Tetsuya sous chef) runs the kitchen with a distinct japanese-american fushion.
AZB also designed the space with oversized wire lighting shades, chalkboard signs (by Ashdown & Bee), hanging plants and lots of plywood & fluro yellow paint.
A must to check out if you're around Bondi!
